Flextech Industries is a manufacturer of expansion joints, flexible metal hose products, and industrial dampers for chemical and petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper, steel, transportation, marine and a variety of OEM markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design of components and assemblies used to compensate for thermal expansion, vibration, and flow control in piping and ducting systems.  Mechanical areas of design include CAD, system, product analyst, stress analyst and calculations, and testing coordination etc. Provide engineering expertise for the design of new company products and enhance existing products.  Interact with marketing, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, vendor supplier representatives etc.  Prepare estimate proposals, evaluation of job costs, and maintain project schedules.  Working knowledge of Auto Cad 2000, FEA analyst, Math-Cad, and ASME B31.1 and BB1.3 piping guidelines.

Qualifications:

This position requires a four to five year degree in mechanical engineering.
